- The brain is still developing until you reach your early 20′s. Exposure to drugs can keep the vital areas of the brain responsible for memory, judgement, and decision making from reaching their full potential.
- Teens who use drugs are at increased risk for physical injury, sexual assault, unprotected sex, and unplanned pregnancy.
- Teens who use drugs before age 15 are much more likely to become dependent.
- The cost of abusing alcohol, tobacco and other drugs is LIFE LONG.
- Most parents disapprove of their children using alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs.
