VIP's
It is with great pleasure that Partners in Prevention presents the 2010 Very Important Partners (VIP) Poster Campaign Winners! Students were selected due to their hard work, character, and, most importantly, dedication to be alcohol, tobacco, and drug free. Congratulutions to those selected!
Selections for individual posters were based on several items: nomination letter, background check, grades, attendance, behavior record, essay submission, accomplishments and personal references. Forty-five students were interviewed and there were less than fifteen students selected from the district.
John Roberts from Bullitt County Schools volunteered to take the student photos for the posters. Publisher’s Printing Company donated labor for printing the many posters around the county. Jaime Goldsmith coordinated the selection process and unvieling ceremony. Many Bullitt County organizations that are members of Partners in Prevention formed a committee and volunteered their time for the selection process.
The poster contest will take place every other year (even years). Keep an eye out for the new VIP poster calendar, which has Bullitt County Public School calendar dates as well as holidays and Partners meeting dates.
